Vehicle description
This custom 1982 GMC 1500 short-bed pickup is powered by a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The truck benefits from an older professional frame-off refurbishment and has been lowered. The LS3 is fitted with headers feeding a stainless-steel exhaust system, and cooling is handled by an upgraded aluminum radiator with twin electric fans. The refurbishment also included new shocks, a front sway bar and new suspension bushings. Inside, the new interior features power steering, air conditioning, modern digital instrumentation, power windows and a cloth-upholstered bench seat. The truck rides on 20-inch U.S. Mags wheels wrapped in Nitto tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted disc brakes. The bed is coated with a spray-in bed liner.
